A theater artist and educator for over two decades, Mandy’s work has always centered around deepening creative exploration and inspiring community. From 2006–2021 she served as Executive Artistic Director of Celebration Barn, Maine’s school for physical theater. Prior to that, she worked with hundreds of students across the state through the Maine Alliance of Arts Education’s Building Community Through the Arts Program.
As a performer, she’s toured her original performances to diverse venues from Montreal to Bogota, and from the New York Clown-Theatre Festival to the White House. She was named the Maine Arts Commission’s 2022 Performing Arts Fellow, recognized for artistic excellence and “a joyful spirit for ferocious play.” As a creativity coach, she helps artists and organizations bring their voice and vision into the world with greater ease, clarity, and impact. She is delighted to join the Side x Side team to support the next generation of innovators.
