Originally from Québec, Canada, Cat graduated from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières with a bachelor’s degree in theater and visual arts education. She moved to Portland early in 2011 and began teaching at Oak Street Studios. In 2014, she began working as a Teaching Artist at Side x Side. She currently pursues a studio practice using various techniques such as painting, drawing, ceramics, multimedia, digital art, and installation art, with special emphasis placed on working with recycled materials. Cat likes to travel and participate in volunteer projects abroad and has especially enjoyed trips to Guatemala, Nicaragua, Mexico, St. Lucia, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Greece, and Iceland.
