Indigo Grey

Indigo Grey lives and creates in Lewiston, Maine, where they moved in 2015. Formally trained as a printmaker, and informally trained as a proletarian and malcontent, Indigo engaged with political organizing and community arts after becoming displaced by gentrification. Indigo has always enjoyed giving things to the people and communities they love. Things given can include time, a drawing, handmade paper, something from the garden, or homemade food, among other things. They are also passionate about sharing their printmaking skills with young people as both an artistic form and a demonstration of democracy and equity. Indigo’s biggest accomplishments include conjuring the sublime, and building meaningful, lifelong relationships with others.
