Pre-K students at Lyseth Elementary School and PATHS recently completed a Side x Side program led by teaching artist Meg Christie. Through improv activities, games, movement, and storytelling, students practiced cooperation, active listening, and speaking skills. By learning to share and enact each other’s personal stories, students strengthened their emotional vocabulary, confidence, and empathy. The program culminated in a celebration of learning that brought the two schools together to share their learning with their prospective kindergarten classmates next year.
