Despite school closings due to the coronavirus pandemic, Side x Side programs are continuing! Second graders in Ms. Salisbury’s class at the East End Community School received packets yesterday for an at-home journaling project in collaboration with Side x Side teaching artist, Laurie Downey. Packets were available for pick up at the school’s lunch station and included all the supplies needed to complete a journaling project at home. Side x Side’s executive director, Beth Wilbur Van Mierlo, delivered the packets to Ms. Salisbury outside the school.
