In February, kindergarten through second graders in Ms. Latzke’s ELL classroom at Connors Elementary School in Lewiston participated in a Side x Side arts-integrated program led by teaching artist Jill Osgood. Students learned color theory and how to draw shapes, lines, and face and body parts to create self portraits and “I Am” books using markers and watercolor crayons.
