Project M.A.I.N.E. (Maine Arts Integration Network of Excellence) is a FREE year-long professional development series in Arts Integration for Maine educators and teaching artists throughout the state.
Side x Side is thrilled to announce that we are the recipient of Congressionally-Directed Spending through the office of Senator Angus King and the US Department of Education for $242K to fully fund Project M.A.I.N.E. This professional development series will incorporate community collaborations with organizations across the state. It will provide participants with an arts integration framework which includes community connections, teaching tools, classroom resources, and arts-based assessment strategies that support teachers to experiment with this work in their own classrooms.
Welcome Video and Registration: Register to become a member of Side x Side to access the webinar series and learn Who is Side x Side and What is Arts Integration.
Monthly Interactive Virtual Sessions: webinars go live every first Wednesday of the month from 7–8pm with a resource drop shared on the last Wednesday of the month (October–May). Contact Hours are available through our partners at the University of Southern Maine.
*Sessions are subject to change.
