Side x Side is honored to be the recipient of a 2021-22 Maine Arts Commission Organization Development Grant for its “Moving Forward” project. The award helps fund the continuation of this multi-year project that will center equity in our organization to shift the lens through which we engage teachers, students, families, and schools. Included in the project is the continuation of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion training for our staff, board, and teaching artists that was launched last year in collaboration with the Telling Room and LearningWorks and led by Cross Cultural Community Services.
