Transportation Sculptures Created by Ocean Avenue First Graders on Exhibit
Transportation sculptures were on display in the Ocean Avenue Elementary School library this winter. First graders at the school participated in a Side x Side program led by teaching artist, Sarah Boyden, that integrated an International Baccalaureate unit called, “How We Organize Ourselves,” based on how transportation systems affect the ways people live, with paper sculpture, illustration, and painting.
